I miss the way you held my hand,

The way you said my name.

But now I feel distraught;

Our feelings are not the same.

I miss the way you’d make me laugh,

And bring a smile to my face.

The way you’d look into my eyes,

And my heart began to race.

I miss the way you’d kiss me,

And tell me that you cared.

And now I ache inside,

Because these feelings aren’t there.

You used to tell me that you loved me,

And that you always would.

But things are very different now,

Yet I did everything I could.

Now our togetherness has ended,

And I’m not sure what to do.
