Your name on the tip of my tongue.

There’s so much that I regret,

So much I wish I had not done.

You are my best friend.

I can’t even put into words how much I care.

And your displeasure towards me,

Is so much more than I care bear.

I know that I deserve it,

For it was me who hurt you.

But my excessive apologies,

Is really all that I can do.

You've always made me feel secure,

With you I know that everything is fine

You've always been the one for me to confide in,

It's you who helps me through hard times.

It is you that I find myself dreaming of,

You're everything I feel I need.

And when I think of what I want,

It's always you I see.

I’d gladly take back my errors,

Take back my actions and my lies.

If that still does not unbind me,

At least I’ll know I tried.

And just know that I’ll never forget,

What it was that we almost possessed.

I’m genuinely sorry.

There’s not much more I can suggest.

If in the end nothing changes,

Nothing betters and only remains the same.

Know that today I’m better,

And that it’s you who made me this way.

I do not care if this all seems childish,

I merely wish to recall.
